When WhatsApp is useful and where it stops
Messaging can clarify a specific product, current variant, quantity tier, sample, measurement, packaging detail, quote, or shipping question. It is less useful when the item is vague, the responsible seller is unknown, or the conversation is being used to avoid a marketplace or written policy.
Collect these details before writing
- Exact album, catalog, or source URL and visible product code.
- Product specification, material, color, size, configuration, and acceptable tolerance.
- Sample quantity and planned bulk quantity.
- Destination country and postal code when a shipping quote is requested.
- Required evidence: measurements, current photos, QC angles, test record, packaging, or carton details.
- The exact questions that must be answered before you continue.
A clear message you can adapt
Ask for price and minimum order together
A price without quantity is incomplete. Ask whether the MOQ applies per style, color, size, configuration, carton, or total order; whether samples use a different price; and whether mixed variants count toward the tier. Record the currency and quote date.
Ask for colors, sizes, and QC evidence precisely
Request the exact variant and the evidence needed to evaluate it. For clothing, define the measurement path. For footwear, ask for insole length and both profiles. For electronics, request the exact model, ports, included parts, compatibility, and test evidence.
QC photos are useful only when they can be tied to the item, variant, date, and current quote. Use the QC comparison guide before treating them as decision evidence.
Request a shipping quote with enough context
Provide the destination and ask whether the amount covers domestic delivery, export handling, international freight, customs clearance, duties, taxes, or final delivery. Request unit weight, packed unit weight, carton size, units per carton, and total gross weight.
Check the contact before relying on the reply
Compare the messaging number or handle with the public profile, album description, watermarks, source page, invoice details, and responsible company. A changed contact, new payment account, or pressure to act quickly is a reason to pause.
Do not send passwords, verification codes, payment-card details, unnecessary identity documents, or unrelated personal information through an unverified contact.
Turn the reply into a comparable record
Save the date, contact route, exact product, variant, quantity, quoted amount and currency, included costs, evidence provided, lead time, policies, unanswered questions, and any later changes. Keep the message thread separate from the original album and source URLs.
